We hope that you can join David this Saturday, June 17, 2023 at 1:00pm EDT, for an exciting 2-hour live online painting demonstration workshop, CITY IN THE RAIN – REFLECTIONS ON WET STREETS and discover how to create mesmerizing effects of surface reflections on glittering city streets. With his entertaining and inspiring blend of knowledge and creativity, David will explore how to create strong cityscape compositions, examining different historic and contemporary paintings. He will create different preparatory sketches while discussing the use of perspective and perception.
David will paint a demonstration painting in oil and mixed media, discussing his palette, color selection, and color mixing. He will demonstrate varieties of brushwork and mark-making with different tools and techniques. This Workshop is designed for artists of all levels, from beginners to experienced professionals.
You will receive a link to a recorded version of the Workshop so that you may review it later at your leisure. If you can’t join us for the live Workshop, you can register and watch the Workshop later whenever you choose. There are no personal painting critiques in this Workshop, but David will be happy to answer any of your questions. You will receive the Zoom link when you register online and also the morning of the Workshop.
