Join David in this 2-hour Visions of Venice Workshop to explore the joy and beauty of painting the atmosphere and play of light, water and reflections of Venice. David’s exciting new online demonstration workshop will explore different Visions of Venice, which has been a magnet of romance and mystery for artists throughout the centuries. He will briefly present different views of Venice from master painters, such as JMW Turner (1775-1851), Antonio Canaletto (1697-1768) and Francesco Guardi (1712-1793), and later paintings by John Singer Sargent (1856-1925) and Claude Monet (1840-1926). David will then paint a demonstration painting in mixed media (oil and acrylic) and will experiment with how to create the textures, atmosphere and motion of Venice with different tools and palettes. We hope that you can join David and create your own view of Venice.
