Join artist and award-winning David Dunlop for another fascinating new 2.5-hour landscape painting workshop – Wildflowers In Atmosphere. In this Workshop David will examine how to create the effects of wildflowers cloaked in mystery when immersed in atmospheric effects – in seaborne fog, a river’s rising mists, or soaked in the humidity of a summer morning. In David’s inimitable, inspiring and entertaining style, he will explore historic paintings of different aspects of flower paintings and discuss different compositional considerations. The painting demonstrations will show you how to create atmospheric effects while creating persuasive wildflowers.
Oil and Mixed Media Painting Demonstrations. David will demonstrate and experiment with mixed media and oils on a variety of surfaces. There are no individual critiques in this Workshop but David will be happy to answer your questions. He will offer an exciting guide to finding, designing and painting beautiful, luminous landscapes using old master techniques in a contemporary manner.
